Deborah has been an educator for eight years in learning support and inclusive education. Over the past two years, she has worked as a middle school counsellor throughout her practicum and internship in her master’s program. Panida has worked with youth, adults, couples, and families who face a range of mental health and relationship concerns such as anxiety, depression, traumas, dissociation, family/marital/couples conflict, workplace conflict, life transitions, self-esteem, identity, problematic eating behaviours, grief and loss, and spiritual development.

She takes on a strength-based and culturally sensitive approach to help clients understand challenges presented, explore the underlying issues, develop new skills and capacities, support them through changing and healing processes, and facilitate growth. It is empowering each unique therapeutic journey by finding and focusing on clients inner strengths and reconnecting with their authentic selves.

Amanda brings 10 years of social work practice to her relationships with clients. She has worked with individuals and families, providing casework and psychotherapy. Amanda holds hope for her clients’ futures when they struggle with finding hope for themselves. She also believes everyone can live a full, meaningful life regardless of their barriers and stressors.

Amanda works with clients (and their families) of all ages, with goals of addressing mental distress. She has a practice interest in working with people going through transitions, such as becoming a parent, infertility, addressing a loss or grieving, being overwhelmed with responsibilities, or returning to work. Amanda also maintains a practice interest in supporting men addressing complex situations, such as the transition into fathering.

Amanda’s practice style is compassionate but direct.
